Morning Session

9.30 – 9.35 am: Opening Remarks: Sharon Bird, MP Federal Member for Cunningham and Paul Scully, MP Member for Wollongong

9.35 – 10.00 am: Introduction to United Nations (UN) International Day of Yoga with Dr Reetu Verma

Reetu will go through the history, significance and relate the philosophy of yoga to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

10.00 – 10.30 am: The traditional spiritual practice of YOGA and its significance in today’s modern world with Aikam Aikoham Nath Ji and Dr Reetu Verma.

The Master enlightens us with his wisdom and explains the spiritual essence of yoga and its relevance today.

10.45 – 11.30 am: Balance your Chakras with Janita and Bulbul

Join Bulbul and Janita for an introduction to your chakras. Bulbul will introduce the 7 main Chakras, then yoga teacher Janita will gently guide you through some Asanas (postures) to balance your Chakras. This will prepare you for a guided Chakra Meditation by Bulbul to help you align your Chakras.


 12.00 – 12.20 pm:  Legumes, Protein and Amino Acids with Pramila Chaturvedi

Healthy cooking and eating does not mean boring or plain. Join our Indian vegetarian cook, Pramila in conversation with Teresa who discuss the many health benefits of legumes/lentils. Pramila also guides you to her 3 step approach to cooking lentils, a nourishing food that is good for the mind, body and soul. Just in time for lunch!

Afternoon Session:

2.00 – 2.45 pm: Yoga, Health and Lifestyle with Dr Reetu Verma

In this session, you will hear Reetu talk about her own healing journey through yoga as she explains why incorporating yoga in your daily life leads to better health and well-being.

2.45 – 3.30 pm: Music and Mantras for Health and Happiness with IndiaJiva

Learn the ancient knowledge of sound, music and consciousness as practised by the Rishis and sages of India. Discover the power of the Indian musical tradition and its relationship to the chakras, the energy centres of the body. Learn about the meaning behind the mantras and how their power can be harnessed for greater peace, health and mental wellbeing in everyday life. IndiaJiva will perform some popular mantras and viewers are encouraged to join in.


4.00 – 4.45 pm: Be You Yoga – The Art of Knowing Yourself with Dr. Sandra Genoveva Taylor

In this session, Sandra talks about her own story and discovery of ‘Be You’ and dwells into the disconnection between mind and body. She will also give you strategies to reconnect through yoga.

Evening Session

5.30 – 6.00 pm: Moving Meditation with Tehla-Jane Bower

Join Tehla for a Moving Meditation – a 25 minute guided session that focuses on preparing the body and mind for deeper meditation through gentle movement and abdominal breathwork. (Suitable for beginners and more advanced practitioners – this session can also be completed on a chair if more comfortable).

6.30 – 7.30 pm: Breath – The Life vessel with Priya Grover

his session is to bring your awareness to the most subtle and important part of our life “The Breath” which is the root and the base of every Spiritual/ Yogic practice. Know the connection between our breath and the mind, how breath can change the state of our mind just within few seconds




Dr Reetu Verma is an academic, transformational coach, spiritual teacher and founder of Healing Health and Happiness. Reetu takes a holistic approach to healing and health and it is her mission to help people with their personal and spiritual growth.

Bulbul Beri has been practising hatha yoga for the last 26 years and started her meditation practice from an early age. She has been a regular practitioner of Chakra Meditation for the past 4 years.

Susan Branch is the Social Media Manager for Healing Health and HappinessHas practiced yoga for past 17 years and meditation past 3 years.

Janita Modi, an accredited yoga teacher, has completed her 460h teacher training with IYTA and 95h children’s yoga teacher training with Zenergy Yoga. Janita has been teaching personalised yoga classes for almost 10 years but has been a practitioner of yoga for the last 40 years. Yoga has been an instrumental part of her physical well-being, and her emotional and spiritual growth.

Priya Grover is a Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher, Health and Wellbeing Coach and founder of YogPriya. She has completed 1750 hours of training from the Isha (Sadhguru) Foundation and has helped CEO’s, Directors, Business Owners, Professionals via her Personal, Group, Corporate and Digital Sessions with Stress & Anxiety, Weight Loss, Focus & Clarity, Body Strength & Flexibility

Pramila Chaturvedi, has a Masters in biochemistry and has a been teaching Indian Vegetarian Cooking Classes for the last 22 years.

Dr Sandra Taylor is the director and founder of Be You Yoga. A motivated Yoga Teacher with advanced training and over two decades of experience in different aspects of yoga and meditation. Energetic, outgoing, and passionate, Sandra is inspired to helping others improve their long-term health and wellness goals.

Tehla-Jane Bower is a writer, yoga teacher, crystal healer and mother of two from Wollongong NSW. She has practised yoga for almost 25 years and is the owner of “Kahvah Yoga & Healing.”
